Got a text from Brian last night that my shocks would ship out on Monday...

FAIR DISCLOSURE...I paid extra to get the new shock bodies, but still, these look awesome! Can't wait to get my hands on them! Have a buddy coming over to help with the install.

My truck will go from this.....

1C89E74F-51C8-40B4-AD84-65CA5E2D19F2.jpegGetting ready to place order with Brian. I assume I’m on bottom perch? Going to have them set to mid perch. Not sure about the valves for adding nitrogen. I don’t see myself using that. Is it worthwhile?
Thanks.

Your shocks have to be periodically recharged with nitrogen. The valves are worth it, especially considering the modest cost of the valve install. If you upgrade to Geiser or Eibach springs, you'll likely stay at low perch, but if swapping out the rear springs you may need to go mid perch. If you keep the factory front springs then mid perch will level the truck.

This shock rebuild turned into one of the best things ever! Not only did I get really good looking stuff from Brian, but I found a local shop (Heads up Seattle area members.... Redmond Tire Pros (website here... https://www.redmondtire.com ) to do the install (I didn't want to roll around on the ground in the rain) and the owner is a retired Navy guy who built his own Raptor and they do a lot of performance work on all manner of hot rods.

The shop is crawling with gear-heads driving supercharged Mustangs, 1000 hp Denali's, a supercharged Mini Cooper (shop car), you name it.... Plus, they sell tires LOL...after talking with them I think my next set (before fall) will be the Discoverer STT Pros (35")....

I got a couple photos of the new shocks and Eibachs here...Hoping to have a video soon. This install lifted/leveled the front of my truck perfectly. Next will be the Deaver +3 HD's in the back!

I am super happy with Shocks by Hammer and Redmond Tire Pros for helping me out. (Neither one gave me anything to say this either, no discounts-no freebies!). It's nice to feel like I have good help on my truck!

I’ve had these shocks on since Saturday and so far so good! Ride quality back to “as new” condition. Pricing and service from Brian is top notch! Next up...Icon leafs and bump kit....

I just finished installing my OEM rebuilds from Brian at Shocks by Hammer complete with new Geisers on low perch. Truck sits almost level and ride quality is absolutely back to “as new”.

My entire interaction with Brian was top rate. Communication was awesome, turnaround was very quick, and build quality was as advertised.

Highly recommend him to anyone who needs a rebuild.

Hi Folks
Glad to hear the feed back on Brian. I’m ordering a set from him as well. Looked at forged off road and Texas shock works.
Brian at shocks by hammer has incredible customer service and has accommodated me as I am from Alberta Canada.
Will posts pictures once I have them. Can’t wait. Lol

I had my shocks done last year, front and back w/valves, from Shocks by Hammer. Also had Geiser Coils added to the front. Top notch work and quick turn around.
Extremely happy with the performance of the shocks.
Brian is also very patient with the questions. ***Highly recommended!***
