Anybody else out there with a #1 allocation that hasn't been pulled?

I don't have it with me currently but it's definately a Dora. I have a an order number and have been checking with ford service weekly but all I get is -still waiting for that build date....

I'm still trying to rack my brain around how my tiny dealer got an allocation. She didn't even have a buyer lined up until I walked past and asked her to order an RS (which oddly she couldn't)

So, out of curiosity, what do I have here? I see that "DORA" is blank...



Edit: after posting this, I did a little research, and it looks like what I have is preliminary paperwork at best... is that an accurate statement? I blanked out the customer name, but in reality my name is in that box (though, based on my research, that doesn't mean much).

When we go price a unit out through our WBDO system this is the pricing report we can print. When we put all of the option, color and trim together that we want the system gives us pricing. That's what this page was printed from. We have the choice of printing with retail pricing, retail and invoice pricing or retail, invoice and plan (X,Z,A,D...) pricing. This paper just shows your dealer went in the system and priced the unit. He has to hit "submit" for the order to be placed. If he told you it's ordered it's probably ordered.

Honest dealers, yes but not all of them

I've gone through 2 dealers already who played the who's willing to pay more game, I had a build, it was confirmed ordered ... I wait for a priced DORA or order number, nothing comes, I press the issue then dealer says oh we there was an allocation/order issue, we need to resubmit the order

Short answer is that varies greatly depending on a whole bunch factors on how their system works. Some people get a DORA in a week or two, others here have been waiting months. Its been about 2 months since I ordered and still no DORA for me.

It's pretty ****** that dealers do that.
