So, just a little bit of an update. I took it to Ford first thing in the morning on Saturday and I spoke with 2 techs and they confirmed what the original tech said. They took my truck and I was relieved thinking this nightmare was over. They called me about an hour later saying they were wrong. All they could do was open my door panel and cut wires. Essentially, the talked out their ass and had no idea. Kinda seems like I'm SOL with this.My understanding from my dealer is also you don’t change the original factory code. You just add on your favorite codes to the original.
So if that is true something to consider…. The rocket scientists that stole your manual will have access to your truck anytime in the future if you don’t change it. Ford has to have a solution for this!!!

Thanks for the advice! Didn't think about thisParking your vechiles inside a garage that you own is the best way to prevent this.
I won't buy a vechile I can't put in my garage(s).
Leaving a $50K+ vechile parked outside 100% of the time is insane IMO.
