Man you can play DVD's on the nav?[/QUOTE]

Yup - I bought a bunch of CD's before Christmas and one of them turned out to be a DVD. It plays, but no image comes through while driving. Lockpick fixes that from what I understand.

Correct, it does play DVD's while in PARK only. The lockpick devices will allow you to watch DVD's while driving but for safety purposes I would not advise it.

Ya - that one happened to be a Madonna DVD, I strongly advise against watching her while driving...

I am familiar with that from motorcycles. Are they the same stlye adjustment? If so, did you do softer or harder? How many clicks? What difference did it make? Is this in the owners manual?

It's not in the owners manual. Its kind of a little hidden gem that Fox/SVT left for us. Due to Government regulations, the Raptor sits with kind of a stinkbug stance. The Fox Shock Perch Mod allows you to raise your front end up further and give the truck either a level stance or a slightly nose-high stance (my personal preference).

Scope these threads for more info:

The CD jukebox is pretty dumb in my opinion, at least for those of us who've already converted all our CDs to MP3 or FLAC. The USB2 mod is one of the best free mods though. Just pull the top pad off the center of the dash, unbolt the two 7mm (?) bolts, pull the panel, and plug in a second USB cord adjacent the one which is already there. I ran mine to the glove box (didn't even want it in center console).

You'll need to buy a USB A to mini 5 pin cable and a USB A gender changer (two female ports). I don't know of anyone who makes a *single* cable to do this.

Still need to figure out if this thing plays FLAC...guessing no. It certainly doesn't do OGG.

LOL, ya I'll get right on that :superhack: I could probably do it, but rather not ;)

you actually don't even need to do all that. all u have to do is remove the tire, compress the spring while it's on the truck, adjust the perch, release the spring, install tire, repeat, align.

For the middle perch, yeah, you can do it on the truck, but we had to take mine out (like sdhq did in the write up) to get to the top perch. Still, it's really not that difficult.
