Looked at the Bullitt but decided on the 19 GT350....

I would get a GT 350. I have one and it's rides nice in Normal mode . It will also hold it value better. And besides it's a bad ass car and the sound of the flat plane crank is F ing amazing. I also have a 2018 Raptor.

For those who own GT350s, how is the ride harshness in normal mode compared to a GT with MagneRide? As I mentioned, I will not be taking it to the track or strip, and my wife and I will use it for occasional trips into the hill country in central Texas, so it needs to be civilized (noise levels and road comfort) when needed. I am not opposed to a GT350, but none of the dealers have been thrilled about test drives them unless I am serious. Up to this point, I was just casually looking on Saturday’s, so I did not push too hard.

I had a 15 GT premium with performance pack and loved it. Wish I still had the car. all that said, I know this may be sacrilege on this forum, but have you looked at how inexpensively you can get a new C7 these days?!

I have considered a C8, but they will be difficult to come by for a while. Maybe I should also look around at the left over C7s. I am coming from two vettes and most recently, a Dodge Viper as my weekend cars, so I am not opposed to other AMERICAN cars.

I would agree on the C7s - A C7 Z06 is a serious car and can be had for a bargain these days.

I am starting to get a thing for Gen 5 vipers myself

I bought a 6spd GT premium in white with PP1 and active exhaust. Retail was just under 46000 and I paid $40,000 OTD. With the extra money I customized it with black racing stripes with a red pinstripes on either side, blacked out (emblems, spoiler and mirror caps) had the tail lights tinted added a Roush supercharger, xpipe and Coilovers with a Steeda pro stop the hop kit. I’m into it for about $53500 total. I had a 2017 Zl1 before this car and like it way more, the visibility and ease of entry exit are wayyyyy better the Ride is controlled but comfortable, handling is incredible, the sound is amazing and the power is addictive. My friend bought a Bullitt for invoice $50,000 and I don’t like the look at all plus I eat him alive with 700 HP and a warranty through Roush. The chrome looks way out of place. The exhaust in quite mode is as quite as a Camry and works great for long highway rides with the wife lol. As a side note, the Recaro sin the GT350 are made for a 150lb max person:)

Dealers in my area are offering the Bullitt for more than $8K off MSRP right now, so I could get one for less than $40K, plus TTL. However, I want the electronics package and the MagneRide, so mine will be closer to $42,500. I would not buy one for MSRP...

I like the PP1, active exhaust and the dark green paint. I also like the missing emblems which gives it a cleaner look on the sides and front. I plan to wrap the chrome trim pieces in black, but I have not decided if I will black out the center of the gas cap or replace it with a blank rear plate. The sound is amazing on the car right from the factory, but I might do something a little more, like an H-pipe. I doubt I will do a SC, but I might do the Steeda tune to get it closer to 500 HP.

MSRP is well over optioned the way you want it. I don’t see how you could get $8000 of considering there are no rebates and only a few thousand in mark up. I work as an FI director at a Ford dealership.

There are over 100 2019 Bullitts within 100 miles of my house, so the dealers are getting desperate I guess. They have them listed on their website, so I will find out if the deals are real as soon as I get serious.

edit: Interesting that you think it is over optioned. The closest GT Premium 6-speed with PP1, Active Exhaust, MR, and Electronics package was only a couple of hundred dollars less. Plus, there is only a few within a 100 miles, so they might be less likely to deal.

edit 2: your car looks great!

I’m thinking you will be right around $48000 if they take a net deal. Invoice is just under 50k

Here is the ad on their website: (info removed in case I decide to buy it)

They have several others at $6K off, but this one is their best deal.
