Any good shops around Raleigh NC?

I’m swapping my shocks with some rebuilds from Hammer and I’m quickly remembering why I stopped wrenching on stuff years ago.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good shop around Raleigh? Like one that pays attention to details and torque specs? I suspect my main issue right now is due to a monkey with an impact wrench.

I’m in Harnett Co and this is just a simple swap on all 4 corners; the springs are already on the shocks in the front.

Howdy brutha, I'm in Greensboro myself and gave up lookin. Only thing I was able to find was Henry's muffler shop. Gonna drop by to see if they can quiet my horribly loud borla atax that dumps above the axle. I've been doing my own work, like the front hub bearings from American Truck and small things. Let me know if you find a shop man, and we definitely have to link up one of these days! (After the pollen storms) smh.

Quick question. I got a "weighted" tag in the mail. It's $538.00 to register. I weighed my truck full tank and the scale read 5,960lbs. Yet the door/vin sticker says 7,000lbs Are you running a normal license plate, and if so how can I?

gvwr is max weight. cargo capacity included. the total weight of your truck is to not exceed 7050lbs. thats the raiting at which ford says its safe to drive around. truck weight is different thats curb weight.
