I found out that Iowa Illinois and other surrounding states are much more reasonable on there prices.
I went on google maps and called any dealer that had 1,000 or more google reviews. thats how i came across the dealer i got my 37 allocation from.
If its the difference of 10K dollars then a plane ticket and drive back at most would cost 3-500? so saving you 9500 by driving a little further.

Or for less than 10k I could put deavers and eibachs and roll 37s on my 18. And the deavers arrived this week :) I’m just checking around

We love our gen 2 I just can’t pass up the amount of money we are making on the truck. If It wasn’t for the unique situation of the used car market we would be staying with ours for at least 2-3 more years.

There no guarantee that the trade will still be so high when they finally deliver the 21. Likely but not a definite and I’m not getting rid of mine now for the same drivetrain.

Judging by the timeline of chip shortage and other market influences it will take well into late 2022 for used cars to start seeing a good dip.
Trade in is just about 20% more than what we paid. So even if it drops to 15% or even 10% I would call that a good gain for a car. Hell even breaking even and driving a truck like this for free for a year and a half is a great deal!
