Eh, it’s only 12k. People are paying double that in ADM and getting nuttin extra for it. Lol.
Friggin pound of bologna in the deli went from 6 bucks to 13 in last few months.

I first saw matte paint on an M3 at the NY auto show, had to be over 10 years ago. I fell in love with it. But over time I’ve fallen out of love with the matte look. I’ve seen so many G Wagons in matte and they just look kinda dirty.

Paid 8k for Stealth and ceramic coating over the whole truck (included wheels and glass) this was before the crazy inflation and I was a return customer. I guess my point is people need to start expecting higher prices.
To the OP - my suggestion is to speak with the owner and bargain a bit, just flat tell him you want to support the biz and see if he will come down. Try and have him throw in a ceramic top coat as well as that really helps bring out the satin look (on my leadfoot it looks amazing - pic below doesn't do justice)

that seems to be the right price for the job. 7k for a full wrap which is still a lot in my opinion but anything over is just ridiculous

Just remember one thing, if you do it for you, great. If you have an iota of hope you will get some back upon trade or sale, fugghedaboutit. And I’m not referring to any specific “you.”

And it does take about the same time and prep as paint. There is a lot that goes into the install, you do not want to have it done cheap then see dirt under it.

I just watched the video again - maybe the pictures don’t dull it - after having AMB for 8 months, I love the way the right light makes it look a deep bright blue and the wrap does seem to prevent that color shift
