Any updates on this issue? I think mine has stopped doing that "extra high" fan speed too.

Mine seems to be working fine with the hot weather in Florida...the fan is always running high when I first get in.

Have you done some diagnostics: setting the temperature setting to LO; using MAX; or just turning up the fan speed?

The fan is running high for sure. But I don't know, I just thought that it blew harder before (same problem with my gf)

I tried switching through the modes and all went well.
