As mentioned, it's related to incomplete boot of the electronics when you turn on accessory power or ignition. What isn't said is that I'm completely convinced this is related to battery voltage. I think when the battery is drained the truck must more completely shut down the computer which would normally be ready to boot immediately.

I think this because my dashcam runs full time off the OBDII, even when the vehicle is off, and in the last year I'll often see a loading bar on the main screen saying something like "system turned off to conserve battery". I think my dashcam has caused the factory battery to deep cycle more than intended and now it's prone to doing this a lot. I haven't gotten around to replacing the battery but I'll bet money it will fix the chime symptom.

I notice it happens with the zen module of I shut down the truck and get back in before the system fully shuts off

But my truck also did it with a bone stock system so who knows

Mine does this too, completely stock.

You’re a brave man taking it to the dealer for that.

Mine does the same but I think it’s speaker related. If I adjust the audio to only play from the rear passenger speaker(s) I get no sound. Loose wire or something. I mostly listen to podcasts so haven’t cared enough to fix it.

Lol end up with more problems than when you started.

I think there was a forscan hack that someone found that would essentially turn off the error checking and force the sound through the speakers each time.

I haven’t cared enough to attempt this
