I would think those rings would cause the intake to be louder as the air hitting the fins. But I’m pretty sure that where the passenger side oem pipe was flared out and contained what I’m going to call an intake muffler that looked like an internal air filter was there for noise reduction. Does anyone have any knowledge of the actual purpose of these rings? Some say noise reduction, some say to “spin” the air.
it they were beneficial, i'm sure AMS would have put that into the install guide?
Novice question, but I have a CVF IC coming. Would it be easier to install the boost tubes at same time while IC is off? Didnt know if it created any more room to work.
