I am going to build a custom system using 2 Flowmaster 40's mounted in the stock location oriented like these ARH's with an H pipe replacing the Resonators. I am hoping for an even deeper sound at idle. Will post.

This system is one of the best sounding Ive heard so far too.

Aloha, HT

I had thought about constructing my own system as well, except for downpipes. I’ve seen many people doing turbo adapters and downpipes alone and getting a much different than stock sounding exhaust. I have emailed American Headers about whether or not their unit has/needs turbo adapters. I like the idea of their long system but they are vague on what it consists of and some performance numbers would be nice. Their cats are 200’s so they should flow really well.

probably can't even get this shipped to commi-fornia.

Maybe that's what their talking about today. Not letting Cali come up with their own emission restrictions.. wouldn't that be great?

I'm going to do a Cat back system removing Resonators and replace with H Pipe and remove Mufflers and replace with dual 3" Flowmaster 40's. Ill retain the stock pipes and hangers in all other locations. A local Las Vegas custom muffler shop quoted me $550 parts and labor including custom made H-pipe, parts, and labor with Stainless pipes.

I already have the 3" Flowmasters Offset/Center In/Out. Im OK with losing some low end torque and power and getting hopefully some more high 4,000+ RPM HP. The stock Eco TT runs out of ooomph after 4k RPM.

But the main reason I'm going with the Flowmaster 40's is that classic muscle car sound. I had one on my old S10 ZR2 Vortec 4.3 V6 and everyone said it sounded like a V8 at idle. THAT'S what I'm talking about!

Aloha, HT

They're talking about letting Cali go even stricter than EPA for Emissions. Like Zero Electric only. Yea.. I know.. i was dreaming a little.

Las Vegas has lots of room and NO income tax in NV. Come on over!
would love to! you guys done building there tho? don't think there's much room left from what i hear lately. LOL

They're talking about letting Cali do whatever it wants which prolly means going even stricter than current CA EPA for Emissions. Like Zero = Electric or Hydrogen Fuel Cells only.

This shouldn't happen anytime soon with all the wealth and fancy cars already here and sold here all the time. I live near Calabasas, and believe me, there's no shortage of gas cars here. I've seen at least 4 different Lambo SUVs already in the past two weeks.. not to mention Ferraris, Porsches, Bently SUVs, McLarens...etc. These are not going to stop anytime soon. Too much EMF coming from most of these electrics.

anyway, didn't mean to hijack. Im interested in this exhaust too, but know i have to ship it to NV to get it tho! LOL

The land goes on forever. Just stay away from The Strip = "Lost Wages"
That I know for sure. I used to be in the film biz, and the only way I'd go to Vegas, is if they paid me for it! LOL
How many times in your life can you say I got paid to go and stay in Vegas...AAANNNNDDD... still went home with money!
