So I've heard from a couple different guys that headers without port matching is pointless? I mean obviously port matching would be ideal, but really pointless? I don't believe this, but maybe some of you guys had more insight on this....

You are speaking with people that have no idea what they are talking about.
Long Tube Headers main advantage is exhuast gas scavenging. This is going to give you that gain in your powerband that you will actually feel.

Its one muffler with 2 in and 2 out. Its a perforated straight thru design that actually crosses inside the muffler

I'm sure that sounds awesome. I wonder if there is a big difference between that and a dual muffler system. How's the drone at 1800-2k rpm?

Damn... Have you or anyone heard anything about borla headers?
I Originally ran the borla 1 3/4" headers on my 6.2l. It was nothing short of awesome. No cats. I had to switch to a set of headers that had cats as the smell was pretty strong.Ran a 5 star tune with it and it was rocking!!!
However, I switched to a header with cats so I would not blow the kids away with fumes when picking them up at school. So, I went with the SW catted headers. A very unique sound, but the low end torque and overall performance was less than what the borla set up gave. Not so responsive on the throttle and the drone is twice that of the borla! I would go back to borla if I could put on aftermarket high flow cat to deal with fumes. Also running the Borla S-Type cutback system. My favourite of all exhaust systems I have heard. Hope that makes sense!!

Did you go with 3/4 or 7/8 primaries? Any pros and cons to these?

sorry i missed this...i did the 1 7/8" primaries. 1 3/4" is big enough for NA and 1 7/8" would be better for forced induction. i may or may not go S/C so i am set for what ever i choose to do now
