So I've heard from a couple different guys that headers without port matching is pointless? I mean obviously port matching would be ideal, but really pointless? I don't believe this, but maybe some of you guys had more insight on this....

I can tell my truck is putting more power down since I put the headers on. It pulls harder and spin the tires more. Thats why I wanted to run the dyno at KHC to see the gains over last year when I ran it with manifolds but they never opened it.

Ya but is that power due to the tuner as well? Currently i have a tuner, intake, and catback and i know headers should give me even more gains with a retune.

i have ARH headers and ARH lightning exhaust made by Nick and all this package with the Whipple SC make the truck fast and mean . Thank you Nick and all the great guys at ARH .

They make a lightning exhaust as well?

I went from cat back, CAI, and tune. To full exhaust, CAI, and tune. I felt a noticeable difference.

Thanks this definitely helps with my decision.
Is the lightning style exhaust a true dual system? i.e. does it have an x pipe off the headers going into two mufflers than the side exit?

its true dual with an x-pipe in the muffler. i have the "performacne connect" setup

Unless you need EVERY piece of horsepower, port matching is not worth the minimal gains. MAYBE a couple hp

Whoever said that basically got sold on it by their engine builder
