Ambient Cup Holder lighting - Opinions?

It looks good, is it on full brightness in the photo? It looks too bright for night running, but if it is all the up in the photo it should dim down well enough.

Click on Video and you can see the intensity of the lighting at full and low power.

How easily are the fronts removed? For example if you get a large drink and have to remove the rubber cup holder?
