Hi,

I have a 2018 gen2 raptor that has been Imported to the UK, it has been modified by a company so it could be registered.
The front amber DRL lights do not turn on ever
unless the turn signal is flashing. I am trying to figure out how to get them back on. Is this something that can be turned on and off in Forscan? And where would it be and what value do I need to enter?

The DRL's aren't amber, they are the low beam headlights. There is an option to switch them on/off in the menu screen.

Okay, thank you. I may have got the terminology wrong, The low beams do work but my issue is with the amber lights that outline the headlamp unit. They are never on unless the turn signal lamp is on. They only ever turn on with the turn signal unit.
I have gone through every forscan setting I can find and they still wont turn on. At this point I think the company has disabled them by cutting a wire.

Are they (the amber outline) on when your low beams are on?

Hey Russ,

Unfortunately not, the amber outline never comes on, the 5 amber led lights will be on without the outline. The only reason I know they work is that they will flash alongside the bright turn signal LEDs. I'm going to pull the headlight units out soon and have a look to see if they've done anything with the wiring. If I can't find anything I may just have to make them work by feeding power to them.
I rang the company up a month ago and they told me they had disabled them (but wouldn't tell me how) because the UK doesn't allow amber at the front of a vehicle but I don't think it's enforced and I've seen other raptors in the UK with them still working, also the 5 smaller amber lights are still on...
It's a shame because they look really cool.
I've attached a picture, you'll see that the outlines are off.

I would check the wiring. The turn signal light does bleed over the the side and makes it look as if they are lighting up. Could that be the case or are they bright when you use the turn signals?

The outline is definitely being illuminated with the turn signal, it's more noticeable at night. I wonder if the amber outline is fed from both the turn signal wire and a dedicated wire. That would explain why it still works with the turn signal and that the company may just have disconnected the dedicated wire.
