They told me $9800 on top of MSRP several weeks back when I checked with them... I ended up ordering from an out of state dealer, Autonation Ford Westlake. They might still have allocation left... They want 5K over MSRP.

Man, I feel really lucky to have made a deal at 1K over invoice. I hope this bodes well for value retention.

First dealer I spoke with wanted $3200 0ver MSRP, they had 5 of 6 allocations left but I told them no, second dealer was a small one with 1 allocation and I ordered from them just under MSRP.

Yes, CA is rough. Two dealers out here quoted 10K + MSRP, a third dealer quoted 20K + MSRP. A few dealers I called were clueless on how to order them and what the price was, and I didn't want to wait for them to figure it out. Once I found the 5K deal, I just gave up and took it.

CA dealers are out of their minds with the mark ups!

I am looking out of state and a lot of them are adding a premium also.

The way I look at it is I wont pay a penny over MSRP! I will just keep saving my money, Next summer will be here before you know it!

Talked to Dennis from Team Ford earlier in the week. Team Ford hasn't had any allocations pulled in November. They are in the dark as much as we are about when our allocations will get pulled. The delays with the oktb , holiday and fire at hq definately pushed everything back. Hopefully out team ford orders will get pulled in the next week or two. As long as you have your Dora and can check your status with ford service or fp, I don't see the need to jump ship just yet.
