I heard this truck was gonna have seats in it oh and a steering wheel!

Well you are wrong about the seats. Yes there are seats but it's not the same as the seats int the GT. The seats will go up, down, back, forward and they will tilt back and tilt forward like the GT. You are probably not aware of this but the 2017 Raptor seat hardware consists of a sliding track with an internal motor that doesn't share any parts with the GT. The internal motor is wired to standard F150 plugs that connect directly to the battery which is unique to the 2017 Raptor. Opening the door and adjusting the seat while standing outside the truck at a 47° angle is not correct. You are doing it wrong. You have to be seated properly in order to adjust the seat, Ford clearly states this.

I'll have more for you on the steering wheel but really, you have to wait to hear about that until Ford gives us more information.

Lmao is it true that they will have a dash with numbers to tell you how fast you go? That would be really sweet, not like race cars where is doesn't tell you how fast just a whole lot of vroom vroom noise

The dash is for street use. Ford is not going to build a special dash without numbers that tell you have fast you are going. Putting numbers on a dash will be useful on the street and you won't even notice the numbers increasing as you speed up and decreasing as you slow down. Only 3.73% of all Raptor owners won't use the numbers on the dash here at FRF.

This is very entertaining!!

SVT now Ford Performance say publicly the Gen 1 was designed to run on low perch. At mid perch it is more to my liking and so far no issues at 80,000 miles. Top perch has caused some issues with CVs for some people.

I believe that Ford had Fox make the Gen 2 front shock with out perch adjustably to eliminate the chance for any warranty issues in the future. This way if you rase the front in any way they can deny warranty claims. I don't think they will offer anything from the factory or Ford Performance to raise the front there is just to much liability in changing bumper heights and warranty issues.

I have a feeling they may offer the same version that the Mint truck is running as a ford racing product, because they can already tout it's been proven out as an upgrade. They sell suspension and lowering kits for other vehicles, wouldn't surprise me at all if they jump into the Raptor aftermarket as well and start offering suspension upgrades for it, and the incentive for folks to go through them is if it's ford installed ford racing parts it retains the warranty.

Alright I'm done messing with you guys, just got tired of seeing the same shit over and over again. In all seriousness though there are bigger problems and things to worry about in this world other than the Gen2 being different from the Gen1... Just saying

Ditto....like FRF showing there's page 6 to this thread, but when I click 6, it just reloads me on page 5 lol

On a serious note though, if Ford made the Gen 2 as identical as possible to the Gen 1 with no changes other than body panels, and even then tried to keep the styling as close as possible, it would have been a pretty lame version of a gen 2 to not update/change/improve items. Whether a change is liked or not, at least they continue to put an effort into the truck, and not just keep the same old shit from yesteryear and slap a badge on it and roll it out the door with barely any effort into it.

At least it wouldn't look like a sardine can full of feces.
