Just installed Eibach front springs and ICON rear springs (option 2) in the rear. I'm loving the setup, but haven't put many miles on it yet, as I need to get an alignment done. I drove down to a local shop earlier today, and they said they'd be able to do the alignment later this afternoon. Then while I was taking a few seconds to decide if I wanted to leave the vehicle with them for a few hours (and figuring out what I was going to do during that time), the store manager asked if my Raptor had Adaptive Cruise Control and the Lane Guidance features. I said yes, and then he said they wouldn't be able to do it, and recommended I go to the dealer. I told him thanks (for nothing) and said I'd go find another shop. I called another of their locations that's about 1 mile further from my house in the opposite direction of the first location, and they said it shouldn't be a problem, and said that if I could bring it by they could hook it up to the computer to confirm it and see if it would be able to reprogram/reset the settings. Sure enough, I brought it over, he hooked it up, and said I was all good to go (for an appointment on Tuesday...their alignment specialist wasn't in today, and they didn't have any openings tomorrow). So, it looks like they'll be doing it for me on Tuesday. Seems very weird that one location would have it, and another wouldn't, but I also didn't really like the vibe I was getting from the first location, and the manager at the 2nd was really nice, so I guess it will (hopefully) all work out in the end.
Anyway, what is it that they need to reprogram/reset in regards to the alignment and how it interacts with the ACC and lane guidance features?
Also, while I was there, the manager mentioned something about the ride height sensor. Is that thing going to be confused since I've changed the ride height? Anything special need to be done about that?
