Air Conditioner issue

My 19 has 22000 miles on it. I was starting to get that nasty sweaty smell when I turned my air conditioner on. So I replaced the cabin air filter with a OEM replacement. The original was pretty dirty. But even after replacing the original I am still getting this nasty smell when I 1st turn on air conditioner. You guys have any suggestions on what else could be the cause?

Maybe pull up the front carpet to check for mold. Possibly clogged sunroof drains.

Try flushing the system. Sometimes meldew developes.

Check the AC drains on the passenger side firewall. Things get moldy and you get an old sock odor if they aren't draining properly.

I've never had the issue because even when I sweat, it smells pretty. A lot of other people in here have had the issue.

GEN 2 - Funny smell in my gen 2 Raptor

So I’ve got this weird smell coming into my Raptor from the air ducts. Smells musty - not terrible, but bad quality air. It only happens for a few seconds. Replaced my cabin filter with no results. Taking it to the dealership tomorrow. Any guidance beforehand?

Weird A/C Odor...plus an update!

Friends, I have a weird odor emanating from the A/C (smells a little like mold), I'm guessing the first place to check would be the cabin air filter, but I was wondering if anyone else had something similar and it WASN'T just a filter. This also gives me an excuse to say what's been updated...

Check you passenger side carpet. The AC drain may not be working properly. There is a TSB out there where an elbow is installed on the drain line on the engine side of the firewall. I had this work done and never had a problem since
