aftermarket oil flexible dipstick tube

Stock dipstick tube rotted away and broke at the mount on my 2010. I replaced it with the Lokar mentioned here. Can anyone tell me if the dipstick tube sits flush with the engine block at the base of it? Mine currently has a small gap there and i didn’t want to force it with some tools. Its in past the o-ring so i guess its sealing either way.
