Everybody always asks why I didn't get a sunroof on my $50,000+ truck?

Cause I didn't effing want one, that's why. Now getting the entire rear window to roll down...Different story.

Same here. Also, because I plan on keeping it for a while and it's just another thing to fix ($$$) after warranty ends.

I wouldn't go aftermarket, I feel when it comes to something that could go wrong in so many ways I would rather have it from the factory

I wouldn't go aftermarket, but I love my factory moonroof. I use it weekly and when the weather is nice, I use it daily.

Me, too. I use mine daily. Open in vent mode with back window open. Perfect cross breeze.

That said I would not do aftermarket. If it were me I'd pass on that truck and get the one I really wanted. Otherwise, in a year or so you'll be wishing your impatience hadn't led you to compromise. That's just me, though.
