Customer support from Chinese manufacturers is notorious. A case in point: My wife and I bought a Samsung dishwasher from Home Depot. It came with nothing. No hoses, which apparently has become common. No electrical cord of any kind, which is not common. I couldn't believe that the manufacturer included nothing necessary to make the thing work. Protracted efforts with Samsung USA failed. They refused to provide anything. Home Depot was kind enough to spot me the electrical wires, but the hoses were on me. Here's the kicker: The person responsible for customer service at Home Depot revealed to me that Home Depot has experienced a long history of poor customer support from Samsung. He wasn't surprised by my experience with Samsung at all.

Remember where the flammable children's pajamas came from? China.
