Aftermarket blow off valves

I dont know what you mean by benefit? Do you mean performance benefit? In terms of power numbers it adds nothing. However as some have said it holds boost a little bit more boost which is beneficial if you are ant to hit high speed quicker. The noise is not annoying and is not super loud.
The only real advantage is that is a mechanical vs a electronic (stock) bov. Our trucks already come with a electronic bov. If you are asking if a bov is a must the answer is no. I changed out my intercooler and i like the added purge sound with my spd adapters and borla muffler ...to each their own

If u really want to hear the turbos.....open up the exhaust and intake. Get a performance air intake with an open element filter. Free up the exhaust.

I really enjoy the sound of the turbo spooling and feels like a damn spaceship lol

Even the stock BOV will make noise if you have it purge to atmosphere instead of back into the airbox. No need to go aftermarket if all you're looking for is the sound.

Now those are helpful replies. Thank you. Yeah I dont care about the noise particularly.. Though I'm not against it. I would love to hear the turbos more though... Can't hear them at all. I can't hear them on my AtsV either though. Just miss the days I had a lightning I guess. Supercharger just made every throttle poke awesome.

Open up the exhaust? I already have the Borla Atak. What constitutes opening it up, just a less restrictive intake?

Yes.... I'm aware of this. Was just replying to the question as to if I wanted to hear the Bov.. Doesnt matter to me. But I was just saying the noise I'd go out of my way to increase would be turbo spool...

Owners found the best combo is leaving stock muffler, and do adapters and down pipe.

Not sure what the ecoboost guys are doing but on my car i have a twinscroll t3 manifold with dual tial 38mm wastegates dumping to atmosphere and a 3 inch 3 foot downpipe.

I have the atak and i disagree with you, my stock muffler was restrictive in air flow, you can almost feel the air jammed in the front of the engine, the atak is a much less restrictive system , with spd adapters and air intake (i have a full race) the sound and the feel of the truck are 100% better .

The bov in my opinion does allow you to hear the turbos spooling a little better. Like i said earlier i like the sound it is not game changer either way

I think your video does a great job showing folks that staying stock is the absolute best option.
