If my boys at Baker don't come up with long travel sometime soon, I WILL be forking out some scrilla for a Brenthel kit.
I know someone selling a center mounted Baker kit(pic below)

Good Question Scotty, lots of good options out there and there will be another arriving real soon.
I know of 2 shops building Raptor's right now, both are building a front end for specific clients and will never be sold as a kit. 1 is 2wd only though

Yes and Kreig will be out in a few years. But he has NOTHING to do with Icon

Hey SDHQ, whats the scoop on the front ICONs? PM me some details.

We are waiting on pricing, but should have that soon... As far as lead time Icon is just waiting on their custom coils to be done... Shocks are dialed in and we have a lot ton on order!

They will offer 2 different diameters of coil over... 2.5" & 3.0" The larger the diameter of shock the more dampening you will have. Either of these will be a step up from the fox. The Fox is a 2.5" diameter, but doesn't have the dampening of a 2.5" because of the space the internal by-pass takes up.

Icon will also have two different lengths of coil overs, one for the stock or other mfg upper control arm and one to be used with their upper control arm. The combo of their upper control arm and the extended travel coil over will net you more down travel.

Icon does it once again. glad i waited for them to come out with a BA set up for the front and rear :drool: i can't wait to get mine

keep in mind that by design, the internal bypass shock will generate more heat which in turn promotes shock fade,.. its a great concept where space is limited and you are unable to run a dedicated bypass/ coilover combo, but your going to want the larger diameter shock to help keep the heat down.

wait so is icons 3.0" shocks gonna have a seperate dedicated bypass or is it gonna be internal? i know their 2.5 has an external bypass or at least from the few pics i saw of rides that had icons

Sodirty is talking about the Factory Fox shock on the Raptor.

The Icon UCA's are going to work perfect with their extended travel coil overs. They will also have a cap to help seal off the uniball.
