I just got a PM asking for a link to this thread, and that made me realize I haven't updated it in a while.
After three more hard-ish off road adventures, and 10k daily driving miles, the rack continues to perform. There are no new squeaks or rattles, no additional rubbing or wear. The tire hasn't budged, the cans are still in place, the tools are locked down, the cooler stays put... everything's in place, hasn't moved and continues to perform as new. Still digging it!
