I'll get a pic of the pack and post it.

A place in town makes their own leafs. They took my pack apart and added a leaf, second one in.
I got about a 3" lift as a result and it hasn't settled in two trucks and 50k miles. The ride is no different. (to me)

I'm not sure of the thickness.

I wouldn't get a generic spring. The arch will be different.
A custom spring shop could do this easily. Very cheap.

I actually use my truck as a truck, and the stock pack is embarrassing, to say the least.

Ok, I posted a while back about the greatness of adding a leaf. Well after 5 or 6 event this summer and fall where I though the add a leaf was great I have given in and bought the progressive leaf spring Pack Jimmy at WSI sells. I guess I have ratcheted up my skills and demands on the truck and continue to get wheel hop to where I have to throttle down. If your looking for solution short term or you hit the trails occasionally the add a leaf would work for you but it you want to put the hammer down in the dirt of gravel..... you need the progressive spring pack.

Keith,

The only problem (in my opinion, and for my needs) is that the progressive leafs don't add that much of an increased payload ability, and more importantly, they sag over time.

I think you will find any leaf pack will sag over time. Its just a case of how quickly they go. My stocks are currently stupidly saggy.

Without starting a new thread....

Has anyone added a leaf to the National HD springs, would it be possible? I'm wanting to get a little more height but don't want to drop another $1,000 + for another set of leaf springs. My other option was to get the WSI springs, but if I could get the rear raised an inch or 2 for under $500 then I'd rather go that route.
