Pretty much took emergency leave from work in order to take delivery of my 2017 Raptor. I live in San Diego county but had it delivered to Las Vegas to avoid having to pay taxes to California and register in my home state of Idaho.
Flew via airliner this morning to Las Vegas and picked up my truck. Dealer was actually really fast for administrative stuff (I had already paid) but need origin certificate for title work, and out of state registration stuff. They didn't do a thorough PDI. So I did the PDI myself, found damage to one of the aluminum vents, had the tires deflated from 50 psi to 38 psi, and got my floor mats back from one of the detailers that "forgot to put them back into the car." After I was satisfied, I started my drive back home. Initial impressions, the vehicle has much better small bump compliance, which makes the truck glide over rough roads, where the Gen 1 would shudder and bounce. There is much more roll and break dive, which probably has to do with the initial stroke being so soft, once the vehicle sets in on a turn it does holds steady.
I think Ford made a critical error with the "louder than normal" ecoboost exhaust. It will never sound as good as the v8, and going from the v8 to the v6 sound is like having sex with a beautiful woman with wonderful ****** noises, and then having MIND-BLOWING sex with an even more beautiful woman, but just so happens to make awkward ****** fart noises. If the second women would just put a plug in it, the sex wouldn't be tainted! I think if Ford had kept the exhaust quiet like the normal F-150 ecoboost, the truck wouldn't have all the "hate" generated from having a v6 fart sounds.
My tires have a ton of weights, and it felt out of balance when crusing at 75 MPH for the first 100 miles and then it got better, by 200 miles, it had completely smoothed out, so I'm guessing flat spots from shipping?
When I took this photo, the Ford dealer was literally right under the aircraft.
Got my first look at my 2017 Raptor
The tailpipes are WAY bigger than expected.
Only 32 miles. 30 from the factory and 32 from the dealer/transport.
Spotted a friend just outside of vegas. First 2017 siting from inside a 2017.
Just over 100 miles, I had to baptize the truck in the dirt.

Yes I know this is not very exciting, it's the break in and I'm holding a camera.

set cruise 75Mph at in the flattest spot possible for 18 miles to see MPG.
One of many successful Mojave establishments.
