800A+Torsen & Convenience vs 801A

BMW has had dynamic headlights since early 2000’s. I have had them in every car and I have never once had a failure. That is 8 different cars and SUV’s from 2004-2017 (2 at a time)

good to hear, that is a big concern of mine but maybe not warranted

One major feature that was a must have for me is the balls chiller. That only comes in the 801a. I thought about this same comparison for weeks, went with the 801a with all the additional features that I wanted. Headlights upgrade, stereo upgrade, second row heated, garage opener, wireless charging, tailgate stamp, and of course the ball chiller. Even if I tried to add on these items after market with an 800a truck, the hassle would have been large, and the savings minimal.

The only thing I would choose from the 801a list is the headlights. But since I'm retired I almost never drive at night and I never drive very far after dark. So I personally would order 800a, Torsen, and out. Unless I could get 37s added to that. Then I'd get 800a, Torsen, and 37s ...
