Raise gas prices to push EVs. Meanwhile, I see the Lightning collecting dust on the dealer lots near me.

As for gas, I filled up yesterday at my nearby Costco in Ct. Regular was 3.59, premium (93) was $4.28. They've conditioned me to think anything under $5 is a bargain.

As to the choice for President, there is none. They both suck.
I would love to hear why Trump sucks. I think he is arrogant as hell but does that make a bad President? I did't like my parents as a kid....but guess what. They knew what was best for me when I didn't want to hear it.

exactly. Ford is betting it all on the EV tech improving. The Lightning is largely sitting on lots in TX too. Because, when you get up to highway speeds, your range plummets, but instead of plummeting from 600 miles, it’s plummeting from 300 miles to under 200 miles. Then there’s 130, the S/A to Austin toll road, signed at 85mph. Towing or cargo? even worse. Now, if you can keep it under 65, ok, but that’s just not feasible around here unless you’re stuck within the city.
And I’m sure that test where they pulled a trailer and range went down to what? 70 miles... that didn’t help

This is not the new normal, all of this can and should change. I don’t think DJT will get the nod, but whomever does get it should do exactly what the current dumbshít did: Undo all executive actions of the last regime. reopen fed land to drilling, green light pipeline projects, start work on new refineries. FOCUS our oil sales to the USA, and we won’t need OPEC. Etc., etc.

What are the mechanics behind gas being double compared to other states? I saw Newsome on TV yesterday saying only $.80 per gallon is due to higher state taxes and mixture requirements.

I mean, back out the $.80, is a loaf of bread or pound of bacon the same percentage higher than other places?

This is part of the problem.

POTUS asked OPEC to produce more oil. They responded by making less.

Don't act like you guys don't know what this is all about. They are creating an artificial shortage which is driving the price of hydrocarbons up. The higher the price gets, the more EV looks promising to normies. This benefits the eco çommunist agenda. Same thing during Obama admin. They want prices state side to be as high as Europe so that it strips people of the ability/ discourages ICE. Lefty policy's are illogical and nobody in their right minds wants what they are selling. However they are cunning, when they don't get their way, they resort to manipulating the outcome in other ways.
