Based on YouTube comments on every single Colorado ZR2 video, any Tacoma forum should be good fun. Even more so now with the Ranger in the picture.

Oh they are. We used to be a vendor on one of them. Most every Toyota guy argued reliability and resale.

Time to retire this topic, it is so last week. The new recurring argument is now from the 17 and 18 owners on how the 19 is clearly a bad choice and how lucky they were to get a 17 or 18. The main points are on how the new shocks, who no one has experienced, aren’t worth the money, on how the Recaro seats with Alcantara inserts, who no one has seen or sat in, won’t last and will fade and look awful, on how the blue interior and new colors that no one has seen in person, look awful, on how the bead locks that no one has seen in person are also awful, and how all of this added up is not worth the price increase. I am ready for the threads on how no one should buy a gen 2.5 and how everyone should wait on a gen 3.

Now all of the current V8 and V6 Raptor owners can finally start having fun with the engine topic and can move the focus on the inferior 19.

Disclaimer: I am a gen 1 owner and have placed an order for a 19.

2017 owner here. If they got the shocks right, it will be a game changer. Perfect dampening on-road, off-road, and in the air. Can't get any better than that.

As for the blue seats and the spoked beadlocks, both are as stupid expensive as they are ugly. And the accent colored Ford on the tailgate is gay. No thanks.

18 owner here. I like everything about the 19 except the seats. I know what blue looks like and I know how alcantara feels and looks like. It's a hideous combo. Do I think overall my 18 is better? Certainly not. Do I like the seat/color options better? Yes. I also think the V8 sounded better but no way in heck I'd rather have a Gen1 over a Gen2
