Sup everyone!

Local car toy store sells and installs Litech HID kits. My question is, is there a big difference between 6000 and 8000? They kit uses philips bulbs, or something like that. They recommended the 8000 so I went with it. Good or bad decision?

gah 6K is the highest anyone should ever go. imo its the optimum color for driving lights. its not yellow, yet its not blue, its the perfect white.
8K is just to blue and you start losing visible light due to that

Def. 6000, 8000 is very blue. It also varies on what wattage you got. 35W vs 55W

Go with 6,000. I have 8,000k in my trucks headlights and fogs but I did that for a reason. My truck sits so high as to blind anyone in front of me so I didn't want THE brightest light possible (which on the K scale would have been 5-6,000) which is why I stepped up to 8,000k.
