^ I think the Geico warranty is a fine warranty. I bought a Mercury warranty and it is basically all the same as what you are saying for Geico and it covers everything as did the Ford warranty.

Don't worry about persuading these guys some will never be happy no matter how much info you give them.

I bought my 6yr / 100K extended warranty from Mercury my car insurance company since I was 16 (23 years) for $860.00

I even went a step further.

We have received your reply and will be happy to provide further clarification.

As long as the vehicle has had regular maintenance and this situation would not be covered by your manufactured warranty, this situation would be covered by Mechanical Breakdown Insurance under the electrical coverage.

Sincerely,

Vanessa

Thank you, I think this works for me. Are LED headlight and taillight housings considered electrical?

I really went down the road for my own peace of mind. I only posted the information here for posterity and maybe help someone else out.

Florida does not allow purchasing an online warranty from a non licensed Florida dealership or company. Does anyone have any info on good deals for extended warranties in Florida? Trying to get one for my 2018 SCREW.

Are you guys purchasing the extended warranties now when you purchase the truck? Can't you purchase them from Flood Ford ESP right before your 3/36 expires? The warranty cost could be a little more in 3 years or 36k miles but right now that is my plan.

I didn't purchase my ESP warranty at time of signing because dealer was pushing a warranty from Ally at 2.5 times the cost. Got online and purchased it within 10 day though because I knew I wanted it and now I don't have to remember to buy it 3 years from now.

I’ve had both Ford and aftermarket warranties. I believe it was @Mahoney who opined about the strategy the aftermarkets use to deny coverage, that’s my experience as well. You pay for the tear down, they send an adjuster who denies the claim, no matter how well you maintained the vehicle, how many records you have, they find some picayune excuse to deny. Then you get to fight .

I bought the Ford ESP on my ’01 Lightning. Many, many moons later, about 2 months before the ESP expired, my AC compressor quit. $50 later, I had a brand new A/C compressor, basically for the cost of the warranty.
