Just found a 2019 6.2 w/80k miles for 3k with the 2wd transmission. I’m going to ask if he’ll separate engine and trans. He’s in FL, so not too far from you.

Keep in mind that the top end of the Raptor 6.2 is different. Thats not a simple swap

Just the intake is the only thing that needs changing, right? The only other difference is cams and the change is negligible. Plus, he has the heads and cams from his old engine if he wanted to swap the top ends.

Heads, cams, intake are unique to a Raptor 6.2. Everything is going to have to be rebuilt to work together since there are 300k on the original

What’s changed about the heads? Just porting? Plus if he just had a machine shop clean the 300k heads up and maybe install new cams and valve springs, and just ran his 300k mile intake, wouldn’t that be all?

The Monday morning QB. The big mistake was to drive it slow home. Probably smoked the cam Journals in the head. Possibly

Mmmm forgot about low oil pressure to the head. Okay, assuming he just had the F250 heads ported and installed new Raptor cams and valve springs, wouldn’t that be it? The intake doesn’t really wear so that should just be a direct swap over.
