5Star Tuner questions

Does anyone know if the speed limiter is removed with the 5star tuner or do you have to go in and do it?

Yea the speed limiter is removed... I always start worrying about the tire rating around 115...

Ok great thanks for that. You bring up a good point, what are the stock bf Goodrich tires rated at?

Our tires are S rated right? If so, 112. If R rated then 106

Also, you have to remember if you run your tires with lower pressures (off road/sand) it generates more heat in the sidewall. Which will weaken the sidewall, and lower the tires speed rating..

Ok yes they are S rated which is 112mph.

I don't know about taking the limiter off mine I don't even realize I'm doing a 100 until the limited gos off
