4x4 binding, loud pop noise when turning

I do not try to park in 4WD no matter what the surface.
This or my previous 4WD will bind when under 5mph.

Unfortunately, by design the IWE will slowly bleed down overnight and lock in 4wd..

No kidding. No, not normal at all. Binding is normal, crunching generally means there is an issue. Thanks again, Greg. I appreciate the help. I gave them your thoughts.Tech is on it now. Everyone there says it isn't the normal binding. Two f'ing weeks.

Hi BAr, did you ever work out what the problem was? It sounds like I have the same issue...

Never figured it out for sure. They replaced nearly everything up there. Took 39 days in the shop. Ended up, through trial and error, fixing it. They tacked on an extended warantee for my troubles. I didn't want to Lemon Law it. Really, it was the mechanic and the service mgr trying everything.
