You are probably right but never actually looked at the wiring under the hood or behind the glove box I thought I would ask. I am sure once I do it will all make sense.

Oh, if you haven't connected the stuff behind the glove box yet, yeah, you need to do that. There are a few threads on here with tips and trips. It's more of a pain than it seems because the wires are short. Do yourself a favor and connect all four while you're back there. You don't want to have to revisit that fun.

Just a quick tip, the switches are rated at 30/30/15/10 amps respectively. 40" bars draw approx 20 amps, so you'd have the use aux switch #1 or #2. If you're unsure the exact amp rating, it's Watts/Volts, those numbers should be accessible in your light bar info. (Thanks college physics prof) :) there's also a how to thread on here written by Birdman I believe, excellent thread, it's what I used.

Got a link to the thread? I looked at the DIY stuff but no idea if that is what you are referring to.

Also can I just butt connectors or crimp behind the glove? I dont have a soldering iron.

Not handy, I remember somebody cut or pulled something to expose more wire. I did it without that, it's just cramped and annoying. You'll see, the wires are just short. Yes, you can just use butt connectors. I think I used those. I may have heat shrinked too? But that's probably overkill for the location.

It sucks, you'll scrape your hands a bit and swear at Ford a lot for gifting you such a chore and not just completing the wires when the truck was built.

I bought them expecting some beefy L bracket...it was ridiculous, could of bought them at home depot for a few bucks...

For real? I looked at HD and did see anything similar to what Rigid sells. IE open in the middle. Got a link to something that will work?

The mounts I have won't work so I have to get the rigid ones or buy something else.
