Hi All,

Ironside, It sounds to me like there might be an issue with the ignitor in one of you ballasts. The ballasts are tested to work all the way down to -50º F, so there should be absolutely no issue.

I believe that Dawson is currently taking some much needed vacation out of the country, I can promise that we will get this worked out as soon as he is back.

In the mean time, you are not going to hurt anything by turning the headlights on and off until both ballasts fire.

Thank you!

Nate @ TRS

Thanks for the info. I know when it's the coldest around -30 some times I Have to cycle the switch a couple times just to get one side to fire.

I also have issues with HIDs not turning on all the time. Nothing to do with Dawson's retrofits, these are hood mounted Vision X HIDs. They usually both come on, but sometimes I have to cycle the switch numerous times to get them both to come on. Sometimes one will turn off while I'm driving, but cycling the switch gets it to turn back on. I guess I need to check the ground again. Very, very annoying!
