I havent hooked up the RGB's yet...i want to do a little "customizing" before i do it.:waytogo:

My blinker lights reflector was blacked out, the main refledtor was left chrome, and the shroud was blacked as well as the side parking lights....

So guys Im still waiting on the rings, TRS said they should have them any day now. I have 10 sets ordered in white and amber and different sizes. Good news is they will have all colors and sizes in stock when I get mine.

While we all wait patiently for the rings, lol, I have some more goodies to offer.... HYDRO DIPPED SHROUDS !

They are available now and should be less then $50 for a set. I will know exact prices today.

You can check out all the stock options here - flims_mobile# its also possible to special order any graphic you want.

Some of the options are a little extreme but there are a few carbon fiber and camo patterns that would look cool, heres a sample pic TRS sent me -

I found it, he clearly knows his shit when it comes to stereos lol. this is just the first stage dynomatting - My 2010 FX4 - Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans

Thank for posting that link! Yeah, I'm only at the first stage right now...all the product is sitting in the closet just waiting for the better weather. up to this point....the radio was changed to a Pioneer z110bt, and the dash kit was painted gloss black and sanded numerous times. The damping is 3 layers...first layer is dynomat exteme...i went over board with it...you only really need to cover 25% with this stuff...second layer is CCF, and the 3rd layer is MLV (mass loaded vinyl)

The system will consist of

Front Stage- 1 inch Hybrid Audio tweets, and Hybrid Audio 3 inch mids in the a pillars ran off a JL slash 300/4, thenn in the doors are Hybrid Audios 6 inch woofer running off a JL slash 300/2 and for subs two Stereo Integrity BM's ran off a Slash 1000/1 oh, and a Bitone.1 is the brains to the whole thing:waytogo:

oh yeah...been doing this way too long too!! started back in the late 80's before i even had a license ( neighbor owned an audio shop) Then I read as much as i could about it, and designed 100's of systems, worked in a few shops during college, competed on the Iasca circut, and made it to the world finals in '99. Now i jsut do it for fun and a stress relief ...hahahah

Just got back from some midnight adventuring and I have retreated back to this post. These are stellar lights. I might need to pull the trigger on these soon.

hey dawson, How hard would it be to change the chrome shrouds that I have now to one of those hydro dipped? As much as I love the lights you need to stop making these things even sicker. I feel like I got a set too early, lol.

hahaha, sorry man, TRS just came out with these. They are not even offering them on their website yet but they will do a few for me to start a buzz.

Changing the shroud would involve opening the lights again. Its a little easier after Ive done it the first time, if you want to attempt it I can give you some tips.

You could also just ebay the lights or sell them on here, I would hook you up with another set of ballast and a harness. I have no doubt you could recoup all your investment and I offer any return customers get a nice discount on the next set. :waytogo:
