I can't wait to see the finished product!!! Do u know what makes these more expensive than the others? Do they have the auto level feature or go side to side when u steer?

There is no auto level or turn steer retro, the cost would be ridiculously expensive due to all the sensors that would need to be installed.

These projectors are OEM European Lexus LS460 Bixenon with a STI-R clear lens upgrade and my custom solenoid mod. The reason they are so expensive is because they are arguably the best performing projector available. There are a lot of different projectors out there, the top end stuff is by Lexus, Acura and Infinity. You can check them out here - HID Projectors from The Retrofit Source Inc - the high end stuff is under "VIP Projectors"

Obvisiouly this is not a option for everyone but I do have several ppl who want the "best of the best". The modded LS460 Bi-X with Osram SVS(4300K) or CBI(5000K) is pretty much as good as it gets in the retro world.

How did you get rid of the foot part on the bottom of the projector?

Grinder and a diamond cut wheel, lol.

I relocate the solenoid (right side pic) and cut the old solenoid section off (left side pic)

Wow! so you moved the solenoid up and I guess shortened the rod for the high beam leaver. Has this been done before? It defiantly looks cleaner without the foot at the bottom. Are you still thinking about doing a vacuum formed shroud for it.
