Cine, thank you for those shots man ! :peace:

Jmoney, you just need to aim them up a bit. MY fault I totally forgot you didn't have a Raptor. Just pull up to a large wall about 20 feet away. use a flat head screwdriver in the stock adjustment and bring them up 2 or 3 inches at a time. Drive around and see how that feels, if you still think they are low just repeat and bring them up another couple inches.

Oh not a problem Dawson. I looked in the owners manual and I tried to follow that diagram and look at my headlights at the same time just now and I have no idea where that stock adjustment is. Anyone have a picture of the stock adjustment screw and where its located? Thanks.

When you put the flat head screwdriver in there, each time you turn it does it click or something or does it just rotate smoothly? Thanks.

Now,
for this "test" its all about light output. With my camera in full manual, it becomes a visual light meter. You can see not only the amount of extra light but also where its being placed. With the HID/projectors you can not only see either side of the driveway but that its green grass! Not so much on the OEMs. Also note the sign on the right. You wouldn't even notice it with the factory headlights, but its clear as can be with the projectors. Imagine if that was a Deer! What setup would you rather have?

Thanks for the side by side comparison .

In that last shot, is the bottom right corner clipped? Looked like a dark triangle.

I will be taking a picture of my screw that adjusts the headlight beam but mine looks nothing like what birdman posted here: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f81/where-set-screw-adjust-headlights-5065/ The off white screw is like almost all gone and its like a U-shape-of whats left of it and then I can see metal by it. I know confusing but I think im screwed.

Your fine man. heres where you want to insert the screw driver - theres little gears in there that you have to catch with the flat head driver. It takes many turns to get it to move and you want to go counterclockwise to raise.

a little trick is to tilt the driver slightly towards the lens side of the headlight to catch those gears better.

Anyone getting these lights from you have problems getting your truck inspected?

The only issue with inspection would be if you tint the side amber reflector, but if thats left stock they are 100% legal.

Other thing I tell guys, if you really want the amber reflector blacked out, is to just throw your stock heads back in for inspections.

I stopped trying to modify the headlight to fit the 460 and performed some major surgery on the 460 to make it fit the headlight. Looks pretty promising... now if I just had more time to install it. :waytogo:
