37s, 18” Wheels and 1.5 Leveling

Both the Ridge Grappler and Toyo Open Country R/T will be great for the street. Looking at their websites it looks like the 18" wheel version of them are E rated while their 17" counterparts are D rated. Maybe something to keep in mind for sidewall compliance on the road.
I'm rocking 37x12.50 17 Toyo MTs on my truck and I can't give them enough praise. You could always keep the stock wheels, grab the Ridge Grapplers in 17 and level it. See how you like it and if you want to change wheels you still have a shit ton of 17" wheel choices to choose from.

I am also rocking Toyo MT;s in D range. It has been a great tire, I wanted D range because E rated have ridden more harsh on past trucks.

I picked up my new 2024 801a tonight. Looking for sincere advice from experts. If you’re snarky, rude, self serving or just mean spirited, you’ll just be ignored. If you want to talk about bingo, Priuses, etc., you’ll be ignored. I’m well aware of the search function, complete with the 150 different and outdated opinions from non experts. If you don’t have time, interest or expertise, please scroll on.

My dilemma/options to consider:

1. Stay with the stock setup. (See photo.)
2. Add 1.5” RPG Collar Leveling Kit only.
3. Add Eibach Springs to level front 1.5”
4. Add Option 2 or 3 with 37x12.5x18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and 18x9 Fuel Rebel 6 wheels with +20 offset.

If Option 4, please commit on fit, required modifications, impact on ride and performance, etc.

If you have 37’s with 18” wheels and a leveling kit, your opinion carries great value and I’d love to see a picture.

I will not be racing, rock crawling or crushing at the mall. I’ll drive it like a normal 60 year old who wanted the best looking truck on the market that has a lot of really cool features.

Thanks in advance for those with experiential knowledge who don’t mind helping a guy out.
This guy looks like a pain in the ass, get a Tesla.

Drew, I second the suggestion of keeping the 17". The stock wheels are forged and much better built than what most people are willing to spend to "upgrade" on that. I will not get into good or bad taste about truck styling and leave those opinions to myself. Regardless of what you do with your truck, the easiest way to ruin your ride quality and performance is to modify the suspension -unless you really get into it and consult with a tuner that actually preps trucks. I tried the collar on my Gen2 from SVC, tuned by a race mechanic with a winning history in Baja; the truck handled poorly, and down the rabbit hole I went plus another $15K to get closer to what I was expecting.

In short, the lift will look cute. For the informed truck owner, they'll know how $#!tty it drives.
