I just don't like the 350 cause a cheap engine with cheap mods that make cheap power does not make a great or even good engine,

Oh wow :snoopfacepalm:

I'm not sure where you are from but cheap power is good power in the circles I run in :head3:

cheap power is for people who don't know what they're doing, and just wanna get that number, the most important thing is the power you make under the curve, peak power happens for 1 rpm, engines rev up over 5,500 rpm, you use that peak power for a small fraction of a second for each gear, you can have 1200 horsepower, but you can be smashed on by someone with 600hp if they have the other 5,499 rpm balanced out with their peak power

I agree. I guess I just don't get why the 350 is considered cheap HP?? I guess all the guys that use that engine just don't know any better...

if it's all you can afford, whatever, but there are better choices if you're willing to work for it, maybe that's it, I feel if it's not worth working for, it's not worth having, and I also hate GM aka shanghai motors (if you've read some of my other posts you would probably know that)

Well we AGREE on something! HAhaaaa. I absolutely HATE GM for knuckling under to the pressure of the THIRD ***** that is in charge right now. There is only ONE GM car I will ever own and its the one in the garage. My wifes reward for years and years of hard work and for putting up with me. 09 C6 LS3 Vette.

THE ONLY reason we bought it was to replace her old C5 2000 model. Obama was about to cut off GM's head and we found a dealer with over 100 Vetts on the lot. We did little negotiation. I had looked at a few dealers, times were hard for dealers. All that I looked at were discounting deeply. We bought one that was listed at $58k for $47K out the door. Now it does only have a 350 in it. I will only run 175 mph. Only has 405 Hp and unfortunately it IS a GM product which I can't stand. But its THE WIFES! She had Camaro's growing up, I had Mustangs. Hahaaaaa.

Oh and I do think the 379 Badge is ok.

I grew up with Chevy race cars in my dad's garage and Ford trucks in the Driveway. That has never changed. I prefer Chevy cars and obviously Ford trucks! I do like the BOSS 379 Badge as well.

The 350 is a great motor just like the LS3 6.2L 379 its cheaper to build more abundant and performance parts are cheaper and easier to tune. Try building a Boss 6.2L for a hot rod and tune it you will break the bank.

fixed it for you, this is why I prefer cubic inch displacements, more accurate, 6.2 liters could mean anywhere from 375.3 cubic inches to 381.4 cubic inches depending on how far the manufacturer wants to stretch the truth, or if they wish to blatantly lie they could go as far as 372.8 cubic inches because in their mind, anything over 6.10 liters is 6.2 liters
