Samesies. My dealer said mid December delivery. Who knows....
I'm in the same boat, blend date 10/11, built 10/19.

If it's mid December, I'll cancel. I don't want to buy a 2021 when 2022s are hitting the lots. I'll wait for things to calm down a bit and place another order. I like the option combos for the 22s better anyway.

@TxNessie84 - You will like this. My 7/30 built truck with the 5 Shipping date delays now targeting 11/4 (zero chance)...

My dealer got a hold of zone rep. Zone rep said it 'should be here soon'...

Do you think I should pop the champagne? That update must be true. LOL

This was my plan originally. I did change my mind though. I have a 22' order in but that could be 6-8 months before it gets built. Supply shortages could get worse before they get better. I figure if I can get one now at MSRP I shouldn't pass it up.

Yea that's the bigger risk. Can't be naive to assume any of this is going to get better anytime soon, 21's could even possibly push as far as into 22 and then now you have a bigger backup and production for 22's hasn't even started yet. Dealers are now getting wiser it seems and charging more markup than they did when the banks originally opened. Is it really worth it after already waiting 5-6 months to cancel for another 6 months? Guess if you have the time

I ordered a 37 June 17 and it has has 4 build dates, the latest was Oct 25, which is now past. The salesperson said no chance of it being automatically converted into a 2022, but he said it could be canceled altogether. It said not likely, but Ford has started cancelling 2021 fleet orders. Oh, my order was and still is priority 1…..haha. Welcome to Biden’s new and better America!

Do you have a VIN? If so, then it is getting built as a 2021. Now when it arrives is anybody's guess based off everybody with the chip holds, which I think my truck will probably have since it has a 10/25 blend date.

I literally can’t fathom a scenario where Ford allows that to happen. Trucks produced well after yours have been delivered, trucks put on hold well after yours have been delivered, multiple chip deliveries have occurred well after. If your truck has that serious of QC problems then they should have built you another by now

Completely agree.

I chalk it up to stealing little Tommy's lunch money in kindergarten. God is now punishing me. I have no other explanation than that. Cause nothing else makes sense....
