37" BFG KM2s Or 37" Yokohama Geolanders

I am about to order new tires. I'm going with 37x12.50r17s with stock fenders (for now). I am between either the BFGs or Yokohamas. Both weigh the same. The Yokohamas are a bit cheaper. I am asking to see the following:

Is one taller than the other?
Is one wider than the other?
Which has a more aggressive look?
Do either have issues with balancing?
Treadwear?
Road Manners?

Any opinions, stats, etc. would be very helpful & much appreciated. Thanks.

If you're considering the geolanders you probably want to check out the falken Wildpeak's. I got mine for 297/tire and they are great for the desert,sand, and snow. They wear well and don't chunk. I don't think you'll get much feedback on the geo's here as I haven't seen anyone run them. Not that they may not be a good tire, guys just haven't run them.

I ran the km2's and was pretty happy with them on my old 11. They wore pretty well for an mt after about 1500 miles in the dirt. They ride pretty smooth as well. For me, there wasn't much of a difference over stock.

The km2's will look a better IMO. Aggressive mts always do. A quick visit to either manufacturers site will answer all your questions about sizes. Just check the specs. They're the actual real measurements.

I have geo's in 35's.

No issue at all balancing - track straight and don't 'grab' at imperfections in the road

Noisy - reviews said they weren't very noisy - ********

Tread wear seems to be decent, lugs are deep and even with my aggressive driving habits I haven't noticed appreciable wear in 10k miles.

Fantastic off road traction

The 35's are advertised at like 64lbs - no ******* way, they are at least 80lbs each.

Look killer, not that it matters, lol

According to the comparison the Geo's are about 5Lbs heavier, 1/2 wider. KM2 are much better rated in all categories, but as you know more expensive

A few of us down in the baja are trying the Nitto Dune Grappers.
So far GREAT..! Awsome in the sand,gravel and dry dirt. And they are lighter than either the Geo's or the kms B.F.G mud...plus the flame tread and side walls are BAD-ASS!

I have had a set on a earlier truck. They are great in the soft stuff. Pretty much suck at everything else esp in the rain or snow. Worst tire I have ever had in the rain. The best plust the DG's have is the sidewall--tough as it gets...

They were pretty quiet and provided good handling on the dry pavement.
