You have a very sharp rig mister. I like the Ford bar better than any of the other I have seen. My truck is about functional and clean looking. No bling hanging on mine.

Correct.

Jeremiah, you're killin' me with all of these pics. It's making me miss the truck even more. Glad you're enjoying her and spoiling her a bit.

Sorry Dave! I know how ya feel. I'm kinka bummed to see my 05 go. I've had it for 8 years and it's the first new car/truck I bought.
Loving the look!!!

Been waiting to see a Raptor on 36's!

Looks like its on mid perch correct?

Yep! mid perch.
Nice looking rims! Sounds like you are saying that the rims were $300.00 less than Methods, that would make them about $115.00 each if your talking four. On the other hand $480.00 is ridiculous for those BFG's.

I paid $615 shipped to my door. I was quoted around $850-$900 for the methods. And I agree $480 is crazy. However, it's cheaper than new glass and upper control arms to run 37's :)

Thanks! That's the look I go for with my vehicles. Simple yet mean looking is my goal.

Big 50,

How do those 36's sound on the road? I have been debating on 36's.

They are great! They are barely louder then the stock tires.

I've done pretty extensive research and to my knowledge there is nothing for 17's. The closest is the Irok radials which you can get in a 36x13.5-17. However, the specs on those are 36.6 inches tall and is pretty much a 37" tire. In fact, many 37" tires have similar spec heights. The specks on the KM2's are 35.5"s tall. Being that they are an inch taller then stock changing to 18" wheel provides the same sidewall height as stock.

I wish that was the case. I think if a manufacturer were too, they would sell pretty well. I've looked into toyo, bfg, Goodyear, procomp, Mickey Thompson, nitto, super swamper, general tire, and **** cepek tires and that size just doesn't exist. 37x12.5-17 is the smallest size up from 35's

The background in your pictures look like an old ship yard. Mare Island?

You are correct sir. I take the ferry to SF and it's sad to see a place that once employed 50,000 people rotting away. If your ever in the area it's worth checking out.

Update: I went out to Pismo dunes last weekend. I did get a decent amount of rubbing. This was after trimming back the finder liner. I'm getting rubbing in the lower corner of the fender while turning in offroading situations. I will need to trim the liner up a little higher and probably take a hammer to the metal in the lower corner. It just needs to be pounded in a little as I only need a mm or so of clearance.

I suspect if someone were to run a more positive offset than my 0mm offset there would be no rubbing.
