3,300.00 tailgate and appliquéd is it worth it?

Is it worth it.? I have a white 2022 that came in a couple of months ago though it did not have the Appique on the back.
Ford could install one for 3,300.00 it’s not just the Appique also needed to apply the Applique a new tailgate shell to attach the Appique then they’ll switch out all the electronics steps, etc. it would look so much better especially a white truck with the black Appiique but wow 3,300.00 would you do it?

A couple of photos what my truck looks like now that’s why I think the black Applique would really complement it.

It's personal preference. I like it better on my Gen 2 than the 3s. The Gen 3s look like an afterthought. If it's a must for you, then unfortunately you have to pay up unless you find someone willing to do a swap.

Look at it this way. You just spent $100k (+/-) on your truck, and you are not completely satisfied with it. So yes, spring for the extra 3% and be happy.

Find the appliqué for cheaper and use 3M to attach it. Has worked for some on here.

I wouldn't own a Raptor with that tail gate. I hate it...you asked for honest opinions. $3300 steep...but. Maybe an alternative lower cost solution as mentioned.

If it were me, I’d have the tailgate wrapped flat black in a larger area that complimented the tail lights and put some sort of black ford badge on there. I’m sure some Chinese knockoff company makes one. The raptor logo should be located lower as well.

I personally would skip every raptor that had this tailgate when I was searching for one. I don’t like how it looks if I’m being honest. Everyone has their own opinion. I’d try to find one and retrofit it if it were me.

I wouldn't do it. I know a lot of guys in here disagree with me, but I like the cleaner look of no appliqué. I just didn't care for the plastic. If it was a powder coated piece of aluminum, I would like it more. I did a factory order and chose to delete it on mine. I think your truck looks great as it sits. My pe nis is big enough that I didn't think I needed it.
