I think you quoted the wrong post... Help me understand what your post means if you didn't. "Day of reckoning" wasn't in it, nor did it imply such a thing. I think the F1 comparison is far from useless. Again, I will give you the benefit of quoting the wrong post.

Yeah wrong post selected. I was referring to RapTerrier’s post a few upward. My bad.

**** You
For craps and giggles I built one on Ramtrucks.com (you know, because I'm a "Troll") and when equipped very similar to my Raptor it came in at just shy of $90,000. I think the Raptor will stay safely in the garage for now.

Agreed.

And generally speaking and not directed at anyone in particular, it's almost as if the TRX caters to another subset of enthusiasts and will do fine for that particular crowd, and guess what? That's perfectly OK.

N O !!!! Say it ain't so! There is still at least one other human on the planet besides me and the wife that aren't "triggered" when somebody has a different opinion!

I think I might just make it through the day. Thank you!

My hope is that the TRX encourages Ford to continue to push the Raptor to new boundaries. When companies compete, the consumer usually wins.
Here's the thing though - Dodge didn't really do much but shove a big heavy 700HP V8. In every other aspect they seemed to copy the existing raptor.

I'm really digging the TRX interior and IMO it looks way better than my '19. Exterior wise... meh.. Sure the TRX has a lot more power but is no one going to mention that it also weighs almost 1000 lbs more than a Gen2?

It should have a nicer interior considering the current F150 interior was designed in 2013/14.

Odd choice on the 2.5" shocks knowing the Raptor has 3" ...looks like travel still the same.

Raptor exterior and suspension with RAM interior and engine. Is that too much to ask of one company for the prices they demand?

Nope.

At the end of the day, the Raptor will be known as the truck that created the segment. The TRX will be known as the cheap derivative.
[emoji848] It won’t be cheap. And based on the specs it’s a pretty nice truck. I love my Gen 1 but it doesn’t mean I am throwing shade at a competitor just because they are different.
