Okay, so I did something that could have been very stupid today.

I'm driving about 30 miles from home and on the first tank of gas. I trolled the boards and was all excited about my 36 gallon tank, although I had seen where people weren't getting their 36 out of it.

I'm crusing along and system tells me I have only like 13 miles left before empty but i've only used 25.1 gallons of gas.

I figure this has to be a mistake, I read the boards, I heard the complaints.

then the truck hitches, then bucks, and I roll off the highway. Sputtering I pull into the gas station and put 25.7 gallons of gas in the truck.

while filling I go back and check the stats on my truck.

...never paid attention to Scab vs. Screw tank sizes I guess...

HAHaa. You are so lucky! Yea, me and my $130 dollor tank of gas would have driven on down the road! I think the 36 was an option right? Its standard on a SCREW. Also, did you notice when the light comes on that your GPS screen shows you where all the gas stations are! HAhahaaaaa.

I don't think there is an option to add the larger tank on the SCAB.

On a side note, if you happen to be a pilot ducatisps, mind telling me what airline so I know which one not to book ?

Lol. Nope hate flying. Flew over 2.5 million miles on American over 12 years while I was at Microsoft

I vastly prefer two and four wheel transportation

haha yep, the 36 gal tank is on screws only, and it's standard.

that was one of the biggest reasons I got a supercrew, was the larger fuel capacity. I hate going to fill up, I'd rather spend $500 and fill up once a month, than spend $50 and fill up 10 times a month lol.

$50? HAHhaa. I actually try and fill up at 1/2 or so because $60-$70 makes me a pissed off cheap bastard. Most pumps still shut off at $75 - $100 for gasoline pumps.
