Unless your making long road trips theres no point to the larger tank. At about 6lbs per gallon of gas that weight adds up quick and only helps to decrease total gas mileage.

I usually put about $30 in at a time, I like stopping at the gas station, give ppl a chance to check out the truck, lol.

yes but 6 lbs a gallon isn't all that much in the grand scheme of a 6,000 lb truck. Fueling up an extra 10 gallons is only 60 lbs, about 1/3rd the weight of an average passenger. And you don't often hear of people with extended cab and screw cab trucks saying "eh sorry we should probably take separate cars, because my fuel economy will be better without you sitting in the passenger seat" lol.

I'm all for shaving every extra ounce on my HD truck in the quest to shave hundreths of a second off my times in the 1/4, but for fuel economy, you probably burn just as much on the initial startup at extra gas stops sa you would to just carry the extra 10 gallons lol

lol yeah low miles it's not as bad filling up on lesser intervals. Mine is my DD and I just hate having to fuel up every couple days. When I was waiting for my Raptor to arrive for FIVE months I was driving my '85 F-150. I had to fill that sucker up every other frigging day with it's tiny *** tank and 9 mpg. It's sooooo nice now being able to go just about 500 miles on a fill up!
